![]() I’m kinda pissed I wasted 25€ on it, I gave it a fair shake (7/8 hours I think).īurnout is fun, has great performance, fantastic mp and a ton of content. But again, imo it’s not fun because it plays like shit (yes I’m aware the og version was 30fps too but the problem is the handling, not the framerate although obviously that makes the dead zones, input lag and heaviness much more noticeable. Too bad because I prefer the NFS setting, the sp races are better and more varied (a ton of BP kinda feel all the same in the end) an like the cop/outlaw aspect of it. In fact, it looks better than some of the latest driving games that have come out during the fall season. I actually bought NFS first and in the end I caved and bought BP because NFS wasn’t giving me my Criterion racer fix like I thought it would. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit looked good back in its time and now, in a bigger resolution and enhanced with special effects like more effective lighting, it holds up pretty nicely to the modern racing games. I owned the og game on PC and at 60fps this was a lot more mitigated but oh boy at 30 on NSW it feels like shit, huge dead zones and all. NFS handling is fucking awful, cars handle like 50t tanks on rails. Burnout Paradise plays just much much better. ![]()
